Lighting Controls
Renewable Energy

Since 1998, Connecticut has provided millions of dollars towards the development and implementation of cost-effective energy efficiency and energy conservation programs, as well as other market transformation initiatives. The Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund was designed and is implemented by the state's electric distribution companies, 6The Connecticut Light and Power Company (CL&P) and The United Illuminating Company (UI). In 2004, the Fund had available resources of over $72 million dollars.

Tychon has been selected as one of ten approved contractors by CL&P to administer the Small Business Energy Advantage (SBEA) program. This program provides cost-effective, turnkey demand side management services for small business customers who do not have the time, financial resources or in-house expertise required to analyze and/or modify their energy usage.

The SBEA program pays incentives for lighting and other relevant energy-efficiency measures. Credit qualified program participants have the option to fund their share of the approved measures through a zero-percent financing option.

Tychon will handle all aspects of the process, from the initial evaluation of a clients' facilities to the procurement of the financial incentives.
